(NEW YORK, NY) – July 5, 2021 - CAD Management has partnered with Fortune 500 real estate investment trust Equity Residential to produce the third iteration of the Afterglow Concert series, a collection of intimate rooftop and lounge performances in NY and NJ throughout the summer. The concert series will take place from July 8th - September 15 in Equity Residential apartment rooftop complexes located in Manhattan, Jersey City, Brooklyn, and more. The tour will feature artists Maria Lynn, Sara Ray Schulmann, Rosette, J.Pappas, The Thistle Brothers, Shira Luce and more. Additionally, the concert series will be supported by New York City based brands like D'Angelico Guitars & Supro USA, providing participating indie artists with backline as well as giving attending fans an opportunity to win prizes throughout the series. For fans who cannot attend the shows, the Afterglow Concert Series will be streamed exclusively on Triller TV.

“I’m extremely excited to continue this great partnership with Equity Residential,” says CAD Management founder Clayton Durant. “We’re really proud to be trailblazing such a unique and intimate experience to grow artists’ careers. This upcoming series will certainly be a special set of shows, as we get to bring music back to so many fans who have missed out on concerts over the past year due to the pandemic.”

With the pause of touring during the COVID-19 pandemic, it has never been more important to ensure that emerging artists have a place to build their fan bases organically. According to data collected by Pollstar, the touring industry lost an estimated $30 billion in revenue due to the global pandemic. For many indie artists, the absence of touring revenue was even more devastating, as many could not turn to streaming, public performances, or synchronization monies to supplement the earnings coming in from live music.

For concert goers themselves, there is also a clear anticipation and demand for live music. According to Live Nation’s own records, 83% of fans have opted to hold onto tickets rather than ask for refunds. The demand for live music is alive and well, and the Afterglow Concert series is excited to be a part of it. As one of the largest residential real estate companies in the New York and New Jersey region, Equity Residential’s rooftops will be an environment filled with some of the most exciting up and coming artists in the region.

“Music has always been a major thread throughout the communities that our buildings reside in,” says Tatiana Bond, Vice President at Equity Residential. “There has truly never been a more fitting time to have this concert series across some of our most beautiful rooftops.”

Fans can explore featured artist’s music by checking out the official Afterglow Concert Series Spotify playlist. Limited RSVP tickets will be available a week before each show.
