Oli Outside Releases Original Comic Book NFT To Celebrate New Album, StarDust

Los Angeles, CA - June 11, 2021 - Today, Oli Outside, the rising songwriter, producer, and artist has released his second studio album, Stardust. StarDust includes his 2021 singles “From The Underground”, “No Drugs”, and “Still The One” along with 7 new unreleased records including “Talk Bread”, “To The Moon”, and “Belong 2” . The album will also boast guest appearances from Rarri and Brian Fresco of Chicago’s Save Money group, made popular by it’s most popular member, Chance the Rapper. The album mixes electronic with hip hop and punk sounds, to create a soundscape that feels like it belongs in a distant starry future. New wave producers Mikey Main, Bleach, and Oliver Simons are credited on production.

To accompany the album, Oli Outside collaborated with designers Sophie Kimura, Lainey Rothchild, and Kiana Menguita to bring fans an original comic book that accompanies the album’s sonics with a journey of Oli Outside through an alternative universe. In the comic, Oli leaves his purple planet where everyone is sad, in search of Stardust. Stardust, which is believed to have the ability to make his planet happy again, will not be easy to find. Oli battles, space snakes, a broken heart and even himself on this journey. Each hand drawn panel represents a different song or musical moment in the Stardust Album.

“When I grew up, comic books were a huge part of my life,” says Oli Outside, “At times it felt like they were my closest friends. My fans and I have connected deeply on sharing our love for comic book culture, so with this album, I wanted to give them a one of a kind comic book experience that merges my world of music with my love for the comic universe.”
